Your Next Level
There is more in you than what you’ve seen so far. More to achieve, more to experience, and more to become. If you’re feeling stuck and stagnant, or simply comfortable and coasting—there is always a next level waiting for you.
Every level has its own “enemies”—fear, doubt, limiting beliefs—that you must conquer in order to move forward. You won’t discover what you’re truly capable of until you face and overcome the challenges at this level. Romans 12:2 tells us, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” The word “transformed” is translated from the Greek word metamorphoo, where we get metamorphosis—meaning a complete change of form, nature, and structure. The word “renewing” comes from another Greek word* which means a renovation, reformation, and a complete change for the better. This type of transformation involves unlearning old patterns and rewiring your internal system for a new way of being.
Growth often feels like loss. Like death. Just as the caterpillar enters the cocoon, it sheds its old form and is literally broken down at the cellular level. It dissolves into a state that looks like destruction—but what’s really happening is transformation. The loss of the old is making room for something new and powerful to emerge. In the same way, when you pursue personal growth, it can feel like you’re losing parts of yourself: outdated habits, limiting beliefs, unhealthy relationships. But in reality, you are not losing—you are undergoing your own metamorphosis and making space for gain. Shedding what no longer serves you is part of the divine exchange that ushers you into a higher level of living.
The caterpillar, at first, can only crawl—close to the ground, limited in perspective. But encoded in its very DNA is the potential to fly. Maybe you’re in a season that feels dark, tight, or uncertain. Maybe you’re grieving the familiarity of the old. Don’t resist the process. You might be living in the cocoon stage of your life, unaware that your butterfly days are just ahead. And when you emerge, you won’t just be different—you’ll be entirely new.
To reach your next level, you’ll need to embrace transformation—even when it’s uncomfortable. You’ll need to renovate your mind, expand your thinking, and believe that you were created for more. The process may stretch you, challenge you, and change you—but it will also elevate you. Don’t settle for crawling when you were born to fly!
